Look and live
Read in your Bible: Numbers 19–21.
Israel's journey includes purification instructions, losses, conflict and complaint. After the serpent crisis, God instructs Moses to raise a bronze serpent, and those bitten are directed to look. The provision is received through the response God specifies, not a remedy they invent.
The image itself has no independent saving power. Jesus later uses this event to speak of His own lifting up, directing faith toward Him. Religious objects must not replace the Saviour, and the narrative does not authorise withholding medical care while demanding a miracle.
Bring your need to Christ without turning faith into a performance. Receive appropriate help and treatment, and let gratitude lead you to support someone else. God's saving gift is not improved by a display of spiritual self-sufficiency.
